my relationships have always been open/transparent. One thing that I like to communicate early on is that I'm always open to feedback/criticism because that is only going to allow me to continue to improve on the value and effectiveness I bring to the table. I've found that managers do try to develop a relationship with each of their direct reports, sometimes there can be lack of common ground due to backgrounds being different but more often than not most employees get a long great with direct leadership.

Training and career development

I think the company does a great job at providing opportunities to continue to progress your career upwards and to gain a variety of skills early on in your career. Additionally the training that's provided is bar none. If you're willing to immerse yourself into the material, grind day in and day out and keep a positive mentality, you'll find yourself successful over time.

Diversity programs

Diversifying leadership. I think this can be viewed both on a local scale and as you move up the corporate ranks. We are a global company so you'll find that representation gets better depending on where you're looking but I think there still is room for improvement on a local scale in the states.

Actually the relatinship here is pretty fluid and candid. My manager is of a younger age range (38) but also a person of color (Middle East). Luckily we're on the same page. Previous managers however I could say otherwise.

Company culture

Inside Sales Culture: originally located in Boston with a "Boys-Club mentality. The hire a certain template of a personality that simply doesn't embody inclusiveness or empathy. The template hires however do fit the description of "Sales professional" but finding those that still fit the skillsets while being a little more culturally aware is where I can see an improvement. Outside sales is overall very individualized in which I communicate with a small amount of colleagues. There isn't much of a camaraderie due to the nature of the role.
