Brand Marketing Manager

The Brand Marketing Manager will be a key member of Verb’s Brand team as the centralized planning and strategic hub of cross-channel marketing at Verb. We’re looking for someone who can lead with creativity and innovation.

Our customers use Verb Bars daily, whether it's for a pre-workout energy boost, a breakfast-plus-coffee on the go, or to beat the afternoon slump. Our first product is a line of 90-calorie energy bars with as much caffeine as an espresso. Verb Bars are vegan and gluten-free, and we’ve worked hard to ensure they are always delicious, healthy, and provide an outstanding energy effect.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create marketing outputs -- Lead a cohesive marketing strategy and plan that spans channels and drives growth metrics, while continuing to grow passion for the brand.
  • Innovate on new concepts -- Develop and lead cross-channel marketing concepts that Verb has yet to attempt.
  • Learn from our data -- Drive thoughtful cross-channel after action reporting that reflects in-channel results and drives strategy on next-level thinking.
  • Learn from our customers -- Improve our customer journey (e.g., unboxing, VIP programs, CX interaction, etc.) in conjunction with the broader team.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in a brand marketing manager or senior associate role or related function.
  • Inquisitive and proactive. Can pull back from day-to-day tactics to assess broad strategic marketing movements.
  • Versatile. Excels in driving decisions in ambiguous situations and newly forming organizations, and enjoys defining paths to success.
  • Nimble. Feels comfortable with quick pivots and shifts needed in order to achieve business goals.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills (has owned and driven a multi step approval process with 5+ cross-channel stakeholders).
  • Ability to assess and drive strategy based on marketing KPIs (particularly organic & paid social, and email).
  • Experience assessing and providing constructive feedback on creative projects in alignment with marketing briefs.
  • Prioritizes an environment that drives innovative and creative thinking.
