The Growth Associate, CX Lifecycle position is a unique opportunity for an analytical, customer-centric, growth-focused problem solver to focus on a key portion of the Verb customer lifecycle. Reporting into the Growth Marketing Manager, Lifecycle & Retention, the Growth Associate will have direct conversations with our customers in our CRM and drive efforts that positively impact our customer retention.

Our customers use Verb Bars daily, whether it's for a pre-workout energy boost, a breakfast-plus-coffee on the go, or to beat the afternoon slump. Our first product is a line of 90-calorie energy bars with as much caffeine as an espresso. Verb Bars are vegan and gluten-free, and we’ve worked hard to ensure they are always delicious, healthy, and provide an outstanding energy effect.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be the bridge between our Customer Experience team and Growth team, by ensuring all growth objectives are being met through key activities on our in-house CRM
  • Own text and email conversations with our customers at least 10-15 hours per week
  • Conduct A/B tests cross-collaboratively with data and engineering team members on all text touchpoints to our customers to maximize retention and monthly order rates
  • Implement improvements to current workflow processes and suggest new improvements on the CRM to increase efficiency and efficacy. Work with digital product to map out those improvements
  • Own daily, weekly and monthly reporting on various growth and retention related metrics and ensure these goals are consistently communicated to the CX team
  • Ensure that the CX team is informed of all marketing campaign details that may impact activity in the CRM, via CX briefs and meetings
  • Collaborate with the CX team on growth initiatives to ensure all communications to customers are efficiently hitting our retention goals and revenue targets

Who We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in a marketing, business, customer experience role, or any related function
  • Exceptional people skills with a passion for bringing smiles to people’s faces
  • Strong business acumen applicable at a rapidly growing subscription DTC company
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills -- someone who thrives working cross functionally
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, other tools like Tableau, Looker are a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills -- experience writing for a brand is a plus.
