Join our international Marketing team and take an active role in shaping the future of many of the largest online retailers and world-known global brands in regards to their digital commerce offering. We’re looking for a product marketer to accelerate the growth of commercetools SaaS technology. You’ll work cross-functionally to define our target segments and product messaging.  You’ll also partner with Sales and Marketing on campaigns and programs to grow awareness, adoption, and retention of our products, including responsibility for monitoring and leading our overall user funnel.

Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to lead go-to-market for our products, and build and execute campaigns to drive product growth. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at commercetools, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partners, Design, and Communications to name a few.

About your new role

  • Work closely with the Director Product Marketing on the product positioning, value proposition and key benefits to educate and excite our customers, sales, and service teams
  • Develop core collateral for sales enablement and key marketing tactics
  • Partner with customers to develop and share best practices, use cases and a pathway to growing marketing sophistication
  • Support the creation of marketing campaigns and the marketing program
  • Contribute to the successful product launch by collaborating with the product teams on strategy and ideation of new solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market as well as our customers, their pains, and jobs-to-be-done
  • Systematically analyze user feedback

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of SaaS product marketing experience ideally with a technical background
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a result-oriented way
  • Fluency in English and preferably German
  • Ability to create content by developing product & sales material
  • Creative storyteller with a high attention to detail and strong presentation skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, and global organization
