The Need

Prior to discovering Chezie, Chegg had been relying on manual methods such as spreadsheets and email distribution lists to manage their Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). This made the process of managing and organizing ERGs time-consuming and less efficient.

Can you describe the circumstances surrounding your decision to engage our company's services with respect to the challenges you were experiencing in your ERGs?
“We did not try any other solution as there were no other solutions on the market at the time specific to ERGs. We could have tried to configure other software to try and fit our needs, but it wouldn’t be an exact match.”
“We were very limited on what type of information we could collect and centralize. Our ERG's also did a lot of member surveys to see what their members would be interested in learning and a lot of that was all siloed information. Also, when ERG Leaders stepped down or transitioned into different roles, a lot of information could be lost. We were really only able to consistently track information around membership data, but that, in itself was also at times inaccurate, since those distribution lists didn’t update automatically. So it was really difficult to pull real-time data that was accurate and up to date but was also impactful.”
“We weren't able to measure our impact very well. Because we would oftentimes have to be, you know, waiting for that information, or ERGs would have to wait for me to compile that information. And that would take a while, you know, going from spreadsheet to spreadsheet.”

After implementing Chezie, Chegg was able to address these challenges and improve the management of their ERGs. With a centralized platform, the company was able to collect and organize information, as well as measure the impact of their ERGs more effectively. The implementation of Chezie allowed for a more efficient and streamlined process for managing ERGs, which in turn, helped to improve communication and engagement among members. Overall, the adoption of this technology has proven to be a valuable asset for Chegg in managing and supporting their Employee Resource Groups.
